THE END OF AN ERA

The time has come for co-sleeping to end and sleep training to begin. Who knew it would be so bittersweet.

How did we get here?

It up for debate on how we started co-sleeping. I’m pretty sure that Jordan fell asleep nursing Tatum in the middle of the night a few times, realized she was still alive and then her sleep brain started to not even notice Tatum was in the bed just like how she treats her alarms in the morning. However it started. . . it turned out to be awesome.

The scary part for me is wondering if Tatums mouth was covered by a pillow or the sheets so I stir quite a bit with her in the bed making sure she’s ok. My favorite moments are when I strart to wake up and the girls are still asleep. I usually would wake up to the feeling of little fingers doing sleepy little scratcheds on my shoulder. Tatum liked to sleep in between us and stretch her arms out so she could feel us both. Then as she began to stir in th emorning jordan would sleepily let her nurse while she lay on her side. Tatum would still extend her arm back and check in. Then I would sneak out quietly to start my morning, knowing the cutest
