Night moves

After a busy and odd week we prepared to drive to Big Sky over night. I got home around 5 PM and Jordan and I had quite a bit to pack still. Wendy and Scott were a big help throughout the week with watching Tatum. Wendy was again on Tatum patrol as we gathered final things and loaded the truck. It helped feel less stressful having extra daylight and warm weather. It was about 50 degrees when we were packing up and the forecast for the weekend in Bend showed a high of 67.

We knew it would be a gamble if Tatum could sleep in her car seat through the night. She fell asleep before we even got out of Bend city limits so early on the drive we felt optimistic. She didn’t like the carseat . . .
