Debut Ride

FRIDAY

After work on Friday, the weather looked like it would be getting warmer. It was mostly cloudy for most of the day despite the forecast being “partly cloudy”. I had my hopes up for going on a ride with Tatum on Monday but I wanted to get the bike hooked up to the burley to test it out ahead of time. In the morning I attempted to get a lot of paperwork done that has been stacking up and causing me quite a bit of stress. I had a few phone calls and Jordan’s morning was jam-packed. I attempted to get Tatum to stay down for a nap once I took over Tatum patrol officially. I watched her standing on the monitor until she dramatically dropped to her belly and fell asleep. I was off to the races with notes when 10 minutes later the monitor went off and Tatum was on the video standing and screaming once again. I shut my computer and committed to Tatum time.

Hooking up the bike had some challenges - one being that my tools are everywhere. Tatum hung out in the back of the truck and ate my bobo bar while I looked for the right tools to get the axel hooked up.
